Sleepy Brody

Today we had our Thanksgiving dinner at church and it was a huge success. We had the nursery today and Brody did well. He has been exhausted with the time change and hasn't caught up yet. This afternoon I put him down and he has been asleep since 3:30. We may be in trouble. I just hope that he can sleep through the night.
Last night was Bubba's birthday celebration at Olive Garden and Carmike Cinemas. We went to see Madagascar 2 and it was great. The kids loved it. Brody stayed at home with his behavior therapist and did some work because he typically goes to bed routinely at 7:30.
He was able to chew his food and clear his mouth before receiving another bite successfully last night. He is an over stuffer and big eater. He ate my leftovers from Olive Garden and two plates of mac and cheese for lunch today. I will wake him up and change his diaper before I go to bed and pray for a long night of sleep.

Golf Cart for Brody!

Here is Brody and Dillion in the kids golf cart. They just love it! I was the clown and Brody would have nothing to do with me. We had a blast at Atlee's party. In the photo is Ian up close with no shirt on October 26th. Can you believe this weather?

Today we had an awesome birthday party for Atlee! We put Brody down for a nap right before the party as a strategy for his benefit. Although a child with Fragile X typically meets a crowd better than walks into one, this event was at his house where he is most happy. It was a costume party and I was a clown with a painted face and rainbow wig. Brody would have nothing to do with me when he woke up from his nap. He enjoyed the party because he knew most everyone here. We had Atlee as a good little witch and Ian was Indiana Jones. There were several great costumes and I am posting some pictures of the party. Thanks to all of our friends new and old for making the memories for Atlee!
