Dear friends and family,
Whew! Time goes so fast and this school year is about to come to an end. We have been feeding 990 children a week with Blessings in a Backpack. What a privilege it has been to be the director. I couldn't have done it without such a great support team. Thank you.
Please come out tonight at 5:45 to the Guntersville Church of Christ to help us celebrate a wonderful year with pizza and soft drinks. A very generous friend is providing the volunteers with a wrap party. Thank you so much for all you do.
We want you to save the date May 17, 2014 for the best festival Guntersville has ever had. It will be the Guntersville Blessings in a Backpack Festival. We just added Bancorp South as a sponsor and I am sure we will have many to follow. You don't want to miss this event. We have secured a rock climbing wall, water walkers, a Disney themed inflatable and a new obstacle course as well as the favorite Eurobungy! We will of course have food and drink for everyone. There will be vendors there that are our friends from traveling the road with Lucky Buck Jewelry. I think there will be something for everyone. We will need about 75-100 volunteers so let me know if I can add you to the list or if you wish to become a sponsor.
Don't forget about the Pennies for Pack campaign that will be going on all summer. If you would like a canister at your business, please let me know.
