Dear friends and family,
I want to apologize for not writing all summer but we took a much needed break from our social lives and spent time with family. We went to our camper for most of the summer by the lake while working four days a week. Bubba had many festivals with more to come showing his Lucky Buck Jewelry. He is in three other stores now other than Curls and Pearls. They are Creative Soul in South Carolina, Brindley's Family Pharmacy in Albertville AL and Baker's on Main in Guntersville, AL.
We just returned from Miami where we attended the International Fragile X Conference which was amazing! Rick Guidotti photographed Brody and it was over the top. Please look at his work at Positive Exposures. Brody rode the escalator for the first time and he caught it on camera.
Ian, Atlee and Brody will all attend Cherokee Elementary School in a couple of weeks. This is the beginning of a good thing. He will be with his peers learning incidentally and imitatively. We are very excited to be there for the first Learning Resource Center classroom. School supplies have been purchased and money has been raised for the new classroom from Brody's friends. I know the teacher will be happy to have the extra money and supplies.
Bubba and I will have our eleventh anniversary next month and we can hardly believe what we have accomplished in those years. Please pray for our continued Griffin Adventures. I promise I will do better with the routine change and school starting back.
Blessings.....
